Jay Moore is a true plein air painter. His love of nature
and his determination to experience the pristine and beautiful landscapes of
the Rocky Mountain region were fostered by his upbringing in the foothills near
Evergreen Colorado. His boyhood was spent in the company of his two older
brothers, playing in the woods, exploring, hiking and fishing.
